Highly Regulated Industry
I was brought in to address the challenge of expediting clean-energy providers onto the Grid. I worked to draft and distribute customized technical agreements painstakingly crafted to comply with national regulations, strict timelines, and nervous investors. At the time of this writing, I was half-way through a one-year contract in which I inter-operated amongst several regional stakeholders, fellow lawyers, and senior staff. In some cases, I was crafting a CRM from whole-cloth.

Oxford University A.I. Start-Up
Mind Foundry had effectively one customer, the M.o.D. I was hired to effect the company's ability to commercialize it's A.I. technology outside the monolithic national security apparatus. I crafted a new licensing agreement specific to A.I. sensibilities and M.o.D. restrictions; and worked with behemoths like Toyota, AIG, and other industry leaders to commercialize and sell licenses and services. I worked with sales to help close monumental contracts to expand our reach. I was also useful in advising around M&A.

Multi-National Scale-Up SaaS
I served as the first commercial counsel to this once tiny Norwegian SaaS start-up. After six acquisitions and technology adaptations, I helped build our international operations. I would later assume general counsel duties. I worked closely with sales, marketing, finance, compliance, security, and C-Suite stakeholders. I crafted the company's multilingual, standardized, mechanized contracts and commercial templates. And, I sat with SMB and enterprise customers and closed significant hard-won deals.
